Support us

Since 1883, we’ve been committed to helping bank workers and their families.

Our mission focuses on supporting people with issues such as mental health, financial hardship, caregiving, disabilities, and long-term illness. We provide personalised advice, useful information, and, in some cases, financial grants to those in need.

Your donations ensure we can continue this vital work for the banking community, now and in the future.

Donate

From a one-off donation to giving regularly, any support you can offer will make a difference.

I couldn’t have navigated the challenges I was facing alone. The Bank Workers Charity's support was a lifeline, both financially and emotionally.

Leave a gift in your will

Leaving a gift in your will is a powerful way to support us. It helps ensure we’re here for future generations of the banking community, offering support through life’s toughest moments.

If you already have a will and would like to explore leaving a gift, speak to Marie on 0203 148 6593 or email legacy@bwcharity.org.uk. She’ll be happy to talk it through with you.

But if you don’t yet have a will, you’re not alone – more than half of UK adults (57%) haven’t written one. It’s the sort of task many of us put off, yet it’s essential to ensure your wishes are carried out, your loved ones are looked after, and any stress or conflict is avoided later on. It also brings real peace of mind.

To make it simple, we’ve partnered with estate planning experts Octopus Legacy to offer a free will-writing service. You can do it online*, over the phone or by video call — whichever suits you best.

Click here to get started, or call Octopus Legacy on 020 4525 3605 and mention Bank Workers Charity to claim your free will.
